City of Claremont issued the following announcement on March 29.
The City of Claremont will be hosting The Annual PJ Stanley Memorial Golf Tournament this year on Thursday, August 11th at River Oaks Golf Club located at 233 Broken Arrow Drive, Statesville, NC.
Open to the first 24 teams, the day starts with 11:30 a.m. registration, then 12:00 p.m. lunch, and a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start. The fee is $60 per player or $240 per team of four. All proceeds from the tournament will go to the PJ Stanley Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Awards will be presented to first and second place teams and prizes will also be offered for hole-in-one, closest to the pin, longest putt and longest drive. Great prizes will be raffled and sponsorship opportunities are available.
