There were two gas stations in cities across Lincoln County selling regular gas at the lowest price of $2.62 per gallon in the week ending Dec. 14, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.
The average reported cost of regular gas in cities within Lincoln County was $2.85 per gallon.
Of the 55 reported gas stations in cities within Lincoln County, 27 offer regular gas.
The average reported price of regular gas in North Carolina was $2.86, compared to $2.85 the week before.
Gas prices in the U.S. have fluctuated greatly in recent times and many drivers are feeling the pain at the pump.
