On Friday, Feb. 21, former East Lincoln High School standout Betsy Eatmon’s current college team, the UNC Greensboro Spartans, won 5-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Iona Gaels.

The game took place at UNCG Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Gaels this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 12:30 p.m. at UNCG Softball Stadium against Towson Tigers.
