On Sunday, March 2, former East Lincoln High School standouts Graham Smiley and Jordan Fisher’s current college team, the Appalachian State Mountaineers, won 9-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Gardner–Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs.
The game took place at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Runnin’ Bulldogs this season.
The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 at 4 p.m. at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium against Wake Forest Deacons.
