State Sen. W. Ted Alexander has submitted new legislation in the North Carolina Senate that would upgrade human trafficking reporting protocols and regulate the sale of materials classified as harmful to minors, according to the North Carolina State Senate.

Identified as SB 1007 and filed on April 30 as part of the 2025 regular session, the legislation carries the short title
