On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Bandys High School standout Cade Spencer’s current college team, the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears, won 18-17 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Young Harris Mountain Lions.

The game took place at Zell B. Miller Field. This was their second matchup against the Mountain Lions this season.

The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 1 p.m. at Durham Field against Bloomsburg Huskies.
