City of Hickory Museum of Art issued the following announcement on October 17.
Bring the kids to HMA this weekend and explore our new exhibitions including "The Improvisational Quilts of Susana Allen Hunter." There are plenty of family-friendly activities to do: use magna-tiles to create quilt patterns, go on a scavenger hunt through the galleries, color a quilt square and add it to the community quilt, and cozy up with a book in our reading nook. HMA is open Saturday from 10 AM - 4 PM and Sunday from 1 - 4 PM. Admission is free! (donations appreciated)
