The City of Lincolnton is celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday and all offices and facilities will be closed Thursday 11/25 and Friday 11/26 for the holiday.

The solid waste collection schedule is updated to move the Thursday route collection to Wednesday; Wednesday and Thursday routes will both be collected on Wednesday 11/24.

Also, Saturday, 11/27 is Small Business Saturday so we hope everyone will SHOP LOCAL & SHOP SMALL - the downtown Lincolnton shops & restaurants will be open and ready for visitors & shoppers.

And last, but certainly not least, the 63rd ANNUAL LINCOLNTON CHRISTMAS PARADE & TREE LIGHTING is on Sunday, 11/28. The parade starts at 4pm and we hope to see you there! We have lots of fun treat vendors downtown starting at 2pm, so pick your parade location and head downtown to see the floats and displays. Santa will light the Christmas tree & Apple ornament at the end of the parade.

Happy Thanksgiving to all! There is much to be grateful for and we wish everyone a happy, healthy Thanksgiving week.
