If you’ve ever wondered how bees make and harvest honey, who’s who in the bee colony, the bees’ role as a pollinator, what bee hives look like up-close, and what tools beekeepers use to keep and care for bees, this program is for you! Join the Patrick Beaver Memorial Library on Monday, May 2, at 6 p.m. to learn about all things bees.
This program is recommended for all ages and is free, but space is limited so advance registration is required. To register, call 828-304-0500 or sign up online at The Buzz About Beekeeping with the Catawba Valley Beekeepers Association – Hickory Event Calendar (hickorync.gov).
