Of the 4,153 people living in Westport in 2020, 50.9 percent (2,114) were women and 49.1 percent (2,039) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the West Lake Norman News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 153. In the 65 and over age range, there were 475 females and 370 males.
