Census Bureau reports Catawba population was 588 in 2020

Catawba had a population of 588 people in 2020, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the West Lake Norman News.

The median age was 49, with 41.8 percent of the total population being female and 58.2 percent male.

The state's total population in 2020 was 10,386,227.
