MAJOR TRAFFIC ACCIDENT
Lincolnton fire is on scene of a two vehicle MVC one passenger car and one tractor trailer both with heavy damage. This will be at the rock fitness on East Highway 27. Have one pinned in and one possible fatal. Highway 27 is shut down find another route.
UPDATE 2 fatalities, and requesting 2 helicopters, this is still an active scene highway 27 East will be shut down for at least an hour while Highway Patrol investigates.
UPDATE: NC DOT is placing barricades at East Highway 150 at East Highway 27 and also at Asbury Church Road at East Highway 27
