Machining Scholarships

In September 2022, the Gene Haas Foundation awarded a $10,000 grant to Western Piedmont Community College for Machining scholarships. The Gene Haas Foundation's goal is to build skills in the machining industry by providing scholarships for CNC (Computerized Numerical Control) machine technology students and certifications.

9 WPCC students are currently active full-time Computer Integrated Machining Technology majors.

20 students in total have received scholarships this year.

This has been a tuition reimbursement in addition to financial aid students may receive. It has helped with expenses related to any school cost.
