On Sunday, Feb. 9, former East Lincoln High School standout Betsy Eatmon’s current college team, the UNC Greensboro Spartans, won 9-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Elon Phoenix.

The game took place at Hunt Softball Park. This was their first matchup against the Phoenix this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 13 at 4 p.m. at UNCG Softball Stadium against Merrimack Warriors.
