Catawba County commissioners approve $2.2 million speculative buildings agreement

The Catawba County Board of Commissioners recently approved an agreement with developer Lake Park 321, LLC to provide incentives and aid for a $2.2 million speculative building project between U.S. 321 and Clement Boulevard near the Hickory Regional Airport.

County commissioner cited by sheriff for opening restaurant against executive order

Lincoln County Commission Chairman Carrol Mitchem was recently issued a citation by County Sheriff Bill Beam for opening his restaurant against the governor's Phase 1 orders for reopening the economy.
