CDC Won't Require Facemasks

Face

Iron Station Elementary School issued the following announcement on February 28.

Effective this past Friday February 25, 2022, the CDC does not require wearing of masks on buses or vans operated by public or private school systems, including early care and education/child care programs. So this means that beginning Monday, February 28th Lincoln County Schools will no longer require students to wear face coverings when riding the school bus or in school sponsored transportation. It will now become your option to wear a mask just as it is in schools.

School bus drivers and administrators have been made aware of this change as well.

Thanks for being patient with us as we continue to navigate the changes to our operations due to COVID.
