Join us tomorrow! Members from VOICE (Volunteer Outreach in Community Efforts) will be in the gallery on Wednesday, September 7 from 10 AM - 12 PM demonstrating how they turn plastic bags into sleeping mats and pillows for people experiencing homelessness. Leslie Porter will show her technique for making pillows and Carolyn Speagle will show how to crochet sleeping mats.
As a reminder, HMA is still collecting shoes (men's and women's -- all sizes) and backpacks for VOICE through September 11. VOICE members also accept cash/check donations. #VOICE #HMA #bringshoes #crochet
